Department or Program Consultation

Most often used for assistance with assessment of student learning, these consultations are available to any department or program that seeks an outsider’s eye or an expert’s opinion on teaching and learning issues.  Some examples of departmental consultations include:

  • Curriculum Mapping
  • Writing Across the Curriculum
  • Assessment of curriculum, programs, etc.

Classroom Observation

The Center for Teaching and Learning and Committee on the Faculty (CoFac) have collaborated to provide resources for academic departments and programs to create procedures for classroom observations based on best practices as spelled out in page 77 of the Faculty Handbook.
