JACKSON HALL

JPR, a residence complex made up of Jackson, Potter and Rees halls, was built in 1966. Jackson Hall houses 124 students first-year and upper class Hobart and William Smith students.

First-year students are housed in double or triple rooms, while upper class students live in single and double rooms. All rooms are equipped with full telephone, cable, and computer/Internet access.

The building was completely renovated in 2005 to include open lounge spaces on every floor.

Named for Reverend Abner Jackson, fourth president of Hobart College from 1858 to 1867, Jackson Hall has bathrooms and lounges on each floor. A large lounge area and game room is available on the first floor of Rees Hall.
