WILLIAM SMITH HONORS HOUSE

The William Smith Honors House is a place for academically-driven women of all disciplines to exchange ideas and concepts relating to each of their specific fields. It is also substance-free living.

The purpose of William Smith Honors House is to maintain a supportive study environment, to promote academic pride, and to create and environment where all residents are expected to maintain high levels of responsibility toward themselves and others.

The building, also known as Stewardson House, is home to 8 students, who have access to a living room, full kitchen, dining room and laundry facilities. Each room is equipped with full telephone, cable and Internet access.

Residence Requirements

Involvement in one or more extracurricular areas and a minimum 3.5 GPA are essential for residence. The women of the house are expected to maintain a substance free lifestyle and have a proven commitment to community living and the ability to participate as a supportive and respectful member of the William Smith community.
