Arts and Social Change House

Purpose

To establish a creative community of artists working towards making the arts more predominant on campus (including visual arts, music, dance, and other forms of artistic expression).

The house, also known as Sheppard House, is home to 7 students who have access to a full kitchen, living room, dining room and laundry facilities. Each room is equipped with full telephone, cable and Internet access.

Residence Requirements

  • Attend weekly dinners. Promote leadership values on and off campus.
  • Discuss ways art can make social change.
  • Minimum GPA of a 3.0.
  • Attend art events held on campus, as well as those close to campus on a regular basis.
  • All residents must abide by quiet hours from 8pm to midnight on all weeknights and all day during final exam times.
