Dear Parents and Families,
Welcome to the Hobart and William Smith community! I'm delighted that your child will be a member of the Classes of 2013 and that you will be joining our HWS family.
As a parent of 1 Hobart and William Smith grad and 2 current students, I look forward to meeting you under the Orientation tent on the Quad on August 28, but leading up to that exciting weekend, there are several things your child must do to help us prepare for their arrival.
Your child should have already received a username and password for the Orientation Web site, where they will fill out several online forms about course and housing preferences. These important forms must be completed by May 22, and we hope you'll encourage them to do so in a timely manner. If your child hasn't received a username and password, please contact the Orientation Office at (315) 781-3041.
We have put together these pages to help you prepare and plan for Orientation, and we will soon be mailing a Guide for Parents and Families so that you can learn more about the community you'll soon be just as much a part of as your child.
