Robert Pool joined the HWS Student Activities Office as the director in 2007. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southeast Missouri State University and a Ph.D. in higher education administration from Indiana State University.
Pool has 15 years of dedicated service to college students. As a graduate assistant, he worked with Orientation and first-year students at Southeast Missouri State University and served 10 years at the University of Evansville. Under his direction, Student Activities strives to deliver student development programming and learning opportunities that prepare students for lives of consequence in a global society. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Pool lives in Geneva with his wife, Kim, and three children.

Kim Kochin has worked in higher education from the time she was a graduate student in residential education at Mansfield University (Pa.). Kochin holds a master's degree in arts education and an undergraduate degree in studio/fine arts with emphasis in advertising and design, and minors in philosophy and communications from Mansfield University. She served as a first year RD at SUNY Brockport and was a first year area coordinator at St. John Fisher College before joining the HWS community as a residential education area coordinator for theme housing in 2004. Kochin served as assistant director of residential education before making the leap to student activities in 2006, where she enjoys assisting students with programs, bringing dynamic entertainment to the Colleges and helping the fraternity men strive for excellence.

Jessie Marullo recently earned a master's degree in student affairs administration from the University of Rochester and a bachelor's in recreation management from the College at Brockport. For the past two years she worked at a variety of institutions including the Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Rochester and the College at Brockport. Her work there concentrated in campus life and student activities, athletics, and community outreach programming. Jessie advises the first-year, sophomore and junior class presidents, chairs the concert advisory committee and helps deliver a wide range of exciting campus programming.
