Chris Hatch

Professors Chris Hatch (Theatre) and Iva Deutechman (Political Science) presented their paper, Too American to be Popular?  Baseball's Challenges with being America's Game, at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York on May 31st 2013.  Their presentation was part of the 25th Cooperstown Symposium on Baseball and American Culture, widely regarded as the most prestigious and important conference for baseball scholarship.  Deutchman and Hatch will offer a new course, Baseball and American Culture, through the American Studies program this coming spring.
