Etin Anwar wrote and had published a chapter in the book The Voices of Muslim Women Theologians. This pioneering volume defines the contours of the emerging engagements of Muslim women scholars from around the world with the authoritative interpretive traditions of Islam, classical and contemporary.

John Krummel attended the 23rd World Congress of Philosophy in Athens, Greece during August 4-10. The congress is held in different locations around the world every five years. Here he presented a paper, titled "Chora in Nishida and Heidegger," as part of their thematic section on "Comparative and intercultural philosophy" (panel theme).
