Over the summer Felipe Rezende attended three different conferences. The first was the Conference on Financial Institutions for Innovation and Development, which was sponsored by the Ford Foundation Initiative on Reforming Global Financial Governance, The Multidisciplinary Institute for Development and Strategies (MINDS), and the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) and was held in Chile. Also while in Chile he attended the South Centre-Minds Conference: Global Economic Crisis, Developing Countries, and Policy Responses. The third conference he attended was the Financial Governance after the Crisis Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This fall he attended another conference in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. There he presented on Minskyan Analysis of Emerging Markets’ Financial Stability: Implications for Development.
