

The Media and Society Program at Hobart and William Smith Colleges invites applications for a post-doctoral position in the use of media for social change. Our interests include but are not restricted to: media access and control, alternative news outlets, political coverage, new media and media literacy. This will be a temporary, two year position with a teaching load of four classes per year, including sections of Introduction to Media and Society. Funding will be available for conferences, as well as modest resources for research activities. Salary will be dependent on the candidate's level of experience. The successful candidate must have the Ph.D. in hand prior to the postdoctoral appointment.
