

The Site Manager will work with the Associate Director and the Director of the Center for Community Engagement and Service-Learning to support the Colleges’ mission through the coordination of curricular, co-curricular, and residentially based public service programs. The primary responsibilities will be the supervision and facilitation of Jumpstart Geneva program.
Jumpstart is a national early education organization that recruits and trains college students to work one-to-one with preschool children from low-income backgrounds. Through extraordinary attention in yearlong mentoring relationships, Jumpstart inspires children to learn, adults to teach, families to get involved, and communities to progress together. Jumpstart is working toward the day every child in America enters school prepared to succeed. Jumpstart is a national leader in early childhood education, engaging 3,500 college students in service to 13,000 children in 20 states and nearly 70 communities across the country.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have earned a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and have public service leadership experience. Applicants must possess superb oral and written communication skills and have the ability to work with people in diverse settings. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to prioritize/multi-task in order to meet key tasks as scheduled and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships within the Colleges and the larger Geneva community. Experience with AmeriCorps, working with pre-school and/or elementary aged children, and a commitment to liberal arts education are strongly preferred.
OTHER INFORMATION:
This is a full-time, 10-month, 30 hours per week, benefits-eligible administrative position. This position description is not all-inclusive, as other tasks or responsibilities may be assigned.
