SUMMER HOUSING
Hobart and William Smith students working on campus during the summer are allowed to live in on-campus housing. Recent graduates are not allowed to live in on-campus housing. The cost for the students to live on campus is $55.00 per week.
In order to live on campus, students must provide the Conference and Event Office with the Approval Form (PDF) completed by both the appropriate department head AND the appropriate Dean no later than Friday, April 11th. In addition, the department head must state in writing whether the department will be paying the housing cost or the student will be paying the housing cost. If the department is paying the housing cost then an account number must be included in the letter.
Note: Students may be required to change rooms or buildings around maintenance and school start up issues.
What Must Happen First
The Approval Form (PDF) MUST be signed by both the Department head and the Deans’ Office in order for a student to live in on-campus summer housing. Failure of the student to submit this form to the Conferences and Events Office on or before April 11th will result in the denial of on-campus summer housing. Recent graduates are not allowed to live on campus.
