Service Catalog: Web Site

Summary (what you get):

Space on Colleges' Web servers is available to HWS community members for academic purposes. Editing access may be granted to one or more people. Web sites are created under http://people.hws.edu/web_site_name.

Services Included:

IT Services will create the Web site shell and its associated file transfer protocol (FTP) service. In addition, IT Services can provide some assistance with creating a site using Web editing tools such as Dreamweaver or iWeb.

What is not included:

Web site design, layout, and programming services are not provided. Database- and executable-based Web sites, such ASP, CGI, or PHP, are not supported.

When Customer Receives It:

Usually within 48 hours of request to the Help Desk.
