Canvas is a web-based learning management system that may be used by students, faculty and staff at the Colleges to facilitate file sharing, digital assignment distribution and submission, asynchronous communication, collaborative writing and additional features and functionalities.
Per the Registrar's schedule, IT Services will create courses after the close of the early registration process. Immediate access is granted to faculty upon creation of courses for the following semester. Student access is granted upon faculty publication of a course.
A resource page dedicated to Canvas has been created and contains information on using Canvas as well as contact information for the Digital Learning Team.

Log in to Canvas (using your regular HWS username and password) at https://canvas.hws.edu.
