The Digital Learning Team can be a collaborative resource to assist faculty with leveraging technology to enhance their face to face classroom as well as the incorporation of technology-based projects in the curriculum.
Faculty members meet with a Digital Learning Consultant to discuss their specific needs, which may range from exploring flipped or blended classroom strategies, brainstorming possibilities for innovation, or working out the details of assignments that use technology.
Faculty interested in exploring flipped or blended classroom strategies are encouraged to explore the Digital Learning Team's "Curricular Technology Integration" Canvas site for resources and schedule an appointment with a Digital Learning Consultant. When faculty members meet with a consultant, they should know the following:
With this information, Digital Learning Consultants can determine which tools might meet curricular needs and recommend steps for implementation that align with the class goals. As appropriate, instructional technologists collaborate with research and instruction librarians as well as the Center for Teaching and Learning to offer coordinated support of curricular projects.
