Juliet Boiselle

Juliet Habjan Boisselle

Director of Digital Learning

Juliet facilitates the Digital Learning Team and much of her daily work includes connecting faculty and students with members of the team and its resources. She has worked in small liberal arts environments since 1999 in both librarian and educational technology roles and has a history of ending up at women's colleges having studied or worked thus far at Smith, Mount Holyoke and William Smith colleges. Juliet earned her B.A. in Women's Studies from Smith College and an M.L.S. from the University of Maryland. At Mount Holyoke, Juliet collaborated on a number of initiatives, including the development (and then teaching) of an information fluency course, as well as a peer-based Technology Mentor Program. Here at HWS, she has served as coordinator to a number of technology-based teaching and learning initiatives including Innovative Digital Pedagogies, Innovative Classrooms, and AsiaPod. Juliet's interests include a love of language learning and developing programs to catalyze faculty exploration of new terrains to implement technology to enhance student learning. Juliet is most at home when she is teaching, which usually involves more roaming than standing or sitting! If you work with Juliet, expect to roll your sleeves up and to hear "We need to eat our own dog food!"

Juliet spends her free time with her husband and daughter cooking up a storm, meandering the great outdoors and sneaking in the occasional run.
