Illustrate the Finger Lakes highlights the creative talents and range of scientists and artists on campus and in the region with emphasis on the interdisciplinary approach to understanding our natural world. Currently in its early stages, the program invites HWS student, faculty, and staff to display their artistic interpretations - (all media) illustration, studio arts, photography, etc.- of the Finger Lakes environment (aquatic and terrestrial) on the walls of the Finger Lakes Institute. Artists have exhibited their work in the FLI classroom, exhibit room, and conference room since 2010. Artists exhibits have included:
