Over 60 students have participated as Finger Lakes Institute interns. Students complete credit bearing, paid and/or volunteer positions as interns, independent studies, federal work-study, and more specialized projects, such as Community Based Research Projects, and Senior Integrative Experiences. Through this program, students acquire responsibility for their own learning, cultural and technical knowledge of the Finger Lakes region, and a personal connection with the communities/organizations they serve.
