Alumnus Baker named assistant principal

Gregory Baker '00 was recently named assistant principal at Newark (N.Y.) High School.

A physics teacher at Geneva High and New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, he has also been principal of the summer school at GHS.

Baker was a physics major while at HWS, and is the only student to have won the Albert Holland Prize twice -- as a junior and a senior. The prize is awarded annually for Public Presentations of Physics by students.

He and his wife, Jacqueline A. Augustine '99, and their three children live in Geneva. She represents the city's First Ward on Geneva City Council.
