Beth Nepa, director of financial aid, and other HWS financial aid staff will present a "Financial Aid 101" session for parents of prospective college students during a free, Princeton Review SAT Workshop on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Geneva Community Center. The parent section runs from 10 to 11 a.m.
The SAT workshop is a collaboration of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the Geneva NAACP, and hosted by the Geneva Community Center. It is open to all high school students. At the end of the program, they will be given a link to take the practice test. The Princeton Review will then correct the test and return it directly to the students.
Pre-registration is required and lunch will be served. For more information, call Lucille Mallard 315-759-3885. There will be a closing ceremony with presentation of Certificates of Completion from the NAACP.
The effort is part of the Geneva 2020 initiative.
