Oher ’76 Joins JASA

Susan Oher '76 was recently named chief development officer of Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA) in New York, N.Y. JASA is the leading non-profit agency in New York working with older adults. Oher now oversees the development and communications departments for the organization. She assumed her responsibilities on April 22.
Oher was most recently the director of volunteer services and special events for God's Love We Deliver. Located in New York, the organization is the tri-state area's leading provider of nutritious, individually-tailored meals to people who are too sick to shop or cook for themselves. In her six years at God's Love We Deliver, she oversaw the activities of nearly 8,000 volunteers annually. In her event management role, Oher played a senior role in all aspects of the organizatino's signature fundraising events.
Her private sector experience in insurance and risk management includes positions as U.S. managing director fine arts at Lloyds of London Syndicate Hiscox Inc. and senior vice president at HSBC Insurance Agency (USA) Inc.
Oher earned her B.A. in urban studies from William Smith.
