Alum Named Chief Legal Officer

David Glogoff '91 has been promoted to chief legal officer of Vertis Communications-a leading print-advertising company. In his new role, he will lead the general counsel office's legal operations and serve as secretary to the Company's Board of Directors.
"We anticipate more active collaboration with our clients regarding innovative products and customized technology," said Alex Sorokin, interim president for Vertis. "David brings strong legal experience and a proactive business approach. We welcome him as a positive addition to our senior leadership team."
While at HWS, Glogoff was an active member in the Delta Chi fraternity, as well as WEOS, the Colleges' radio station. He graduated with a B.A. in English and, in 1994, earned a J.D. from Tulane Law. He is a member of the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania state Bars.
Glogoff joined Vertis in 2000 and previously served as vice president and deputy general counsel. Prior to Vertis, he worked as a corporate associate in the Princeton, N.J., law firm of Smith, Stratton, Wise, Heher, & Brennan, as well as at the NYC firm: Flood, Johnston, & McShane, where he acted as litigations associate specializing in environmental law.
