Beginning on Thursday, Dec. 6, the Finger Lakes Institute Classroom will display "Illustrate the Finger Lakes – A View of Life in Castle Creek."
The colorful exhibit will be displayed in FLI through May 2013.
Illustrate the Finger Lakes is a program of the Finger Lakes Institute that focuses on keeping environmental education interdisciplinary. By utilizing the visual arts, artists educate the public about the natural history of the Finger Lakes.
Laura Carver-Dionne ’13 has composed a variety of photographs taken while conducting water quality and macro-invertebrate research of Geneva’s urban stream, Castle Creek. This visually artistic display provides a glimpse into the biological diversity of Castle Creek as it travels through an agricultural landscape to an urban setting.
