From Monday April 8 to Friday, April 19, the Annual Arts Experience Festival will take place on various locations throughout the HWS Campus.
The Arts Experience is a variety of workshops, special events, and guest presenters that attract hundreds of participants including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the college community, and the general public to explore various means of expression through the arts. The Arts Experience cultivates and embraces the spirit of inclusion through participation in the arts, artistic performance, and celebration. The festival is a partnership of Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the Collaborative of the Finger Lakes, twelve Arc chapters providing supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Everyone is invited to share their talent, expertise, and energy and participate in this upcoming event that will showcase talent in visual arts, creative movement, performance, filmmaking, multimedia, and music.
All activities take place in accessible venues on the campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. Due to space limitations, free registration required for all "workshops." No registration required for "events." For more information, visit http://www.hws.edu/festival/
