On Tuesday, Oct. 30, the Center for Global Education and the Architectural Studies program will host an event featuring the work of students who participated in our Spring 2012 off-campus program in Rome, Italy. The event will take place from 4:30 - 6 p.m. in the Library Atrium.
In addition to studying Italian language and culture, participants in the Spring 2012 Rome program took courses including “Layers of Rome”, “Contemporary Visual Design and Media Communication in Italy”, “Imaging Rome” and “The Sketchbook: Visual Notes and Analysis”. Our event will include a poster session displaying sketches and other work that students completed as part of their program.
This promises to be a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Rome program and what our students experienced during their semester in the Eternal City. Light refreshments will be served.
