On Wednesday, Dec. 5, Music, Meditation and Munchies will celebrate the music of Paris at 12:15 p.m. in St. John's Chapel.
Festive organ music by Louis-Claude Daquin, Jeanne Demessieux, and Marcel Dupré based on Adeste Fideles and In Dulci Jubilo. Also included will be favorite French carols sung by Angela Libertella Calabrese.
Meditation by Professor of French and Francophone Studies Catherine Gallouët.
Each program features organ music played by Mary Ann Hamilton, Colleges Organist as well as special guests. Spoken meditation or poetry will complement the music each month and dessert will be served following each program. All are welcome and invited to bring a lunch. The series is held from September-December and from February-May.
