Since graduating from Hobart College in 1944, Grady Jensen has distinguished himself as the quintessential Hobart Statesman. As a student, he earned his freshman numerals in football, played two years of lacrosse, was the literary editor of the yearbook and a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Upon graduation, Jensen joined the U.S. Navy, where he served as a pilot, and subsequently enrolled in the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, receiving a Master of Business Administration degree in 1949.
Contribution: Artifacts from The S.S. Hobart Victory, a World War II Victory ship, are on a long-term loan to Hobart College from the Maritime Administration of the United States Department of Transportation.
College Activities: Football, lacrosse, yearbook, Kappa Sigma fraternity, Alumni Trustee, Vice President and President of the Hobart Club of New York, Reunion Coordinator, Hobart Sesquicentennial Steering Committee and Class Correspondent
