Major/minor: Architecture/Classical Studies and Aesthetics

Why did you choose Hobart and William Smith Colleges?: I chose Hobart and William Smith mostly because the architecture department has a great program for the major I wanted to pursue. I also liked the campus itself and the communal environment the Colleges create among the faculty and students.

How do you stay connected to the Colleges?: I currently volunteer as a Class Agent for the Classes of 2011, trying to get my fellow graduates to donate back to the school. I've stayed in touch with a lot of the friends I made on campus and try to stop by when I'm in the area to see people who are still there.

What makes the Colleges special?: The Colleges have a close community of students, alumni, and staff that I don't often sense when talking to graduates from other colleges. The members of HWS have a lot of fond memories and pride in the school and feel a close connection with the campus.

Why do you give back to HWS?: I want to give others the chance to have the education and the experiences I had while attending school.

What are your goals as a Regional Network volunteer?: I would like to try and connect more alums in my area together because things change when you leave campus and you can lose that bond with the school and community.
