H.J. McCooey Memorial Field

Home of the William Smith field hockey and lacrosse teams and second home for the Hobart lacrosse team, H.J. McCooey Memorial Field is a 1,500 seat artificial turf stadium which includes lights and a press box.


~Home of the 2007 NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship	~Features a surface made of AstroTurf 12, a revolutionary synthetic material designed to meet FIH standards.	~Financed in part through a lead naming gift from the family of Herbert J. McCooey, Sr. P'76 P'78 P'82 P'90 P'92 GP'04 GP'08 GP'09	~In addition to HWS field hockey and lacrosse teams, McCooey Field is the alternate site for the rest of the Colleges' sports teams.
