This project examined the structure and workings of literacy coalitions from around upstate New York in an effort to benefit the local literacy coalition, Geneva Reads. Surrounding coalitions were surveyed regarding their leadership, structure, funding, advertising, effectiveness and volunteer recruitment in an effort to establish best practices for Geneva Reads.
