This project is an in-depth study of Linden Street and the potential for turning it into solely a pedestrian walkway. The purpose of this research is to assess the feasibility of pedestrianizing the street by looking at the benefits and the conflicts observed and gained through interviewing the business owners and city officials. This information will be used to propose a phased approach for making Linden a street only for people to the City of Geneva in an attempt to improve the City Central district and provide a new heart for Geneva. Preliminary findings and recommendations will be presented.
