With the creation of the new HWS academic department web pages, our goal is to craft an easy-to-navigate design that gels with the overall redesign of the HWS website and generates a uniquely interactive experience. Our intention is to give visitors a sense of basic continuity among all department and program sites while at the same time highlighting distinctions.
Through our academic department pages, we are able to reflect our messaging and emphasize that HWS students have limitless opportunities to discover themselves and the world around them, work closely with faculty members to create a personalized education, and go on to live fulfilling lives after graduation.
HWS requires students to think and experience broadly and deeply. We didn't just want to tell visitors that, instead we sought to find a way for users to experience that same sense of guided exploration on the Web, to experience the multiple perspectives and multiple experiences that are at the heart of HWS.
