Leadership Programming

Leadership Programming

The Centennial Center for Leadership unlocks leadership potential by helping students develop the necessary behaviors and competencies associated with effective leadership, through a variety of programming:

HWS Leads: Minds Wide Open
The Center's flagship program, HWS Leads: Minds Wide Open is a certification program for HWS students. The program immerses students in an environment that cultivates professional, intellectual and personal development. For more information about the program, visit HWS Leads.

Leadership Reader's College Courses
Taught by HWS faculty and staff, each Leadership Reader's College will meet several times over the course of a single semester to discuss mutual readings on the subject of leadership. To learn more about Reader's Colleges being offered this semester, visit the Reader's College Web site or check out the box at right.

Leadership Speaker Sessions
Lectures and discussion sessions with visiting Centennial Center speakers and Centennial Center staff members are offered throughout the year for those who are interested in leadership development but are not able to commit to a three-day institute or semester-long certification program. To learn more about upcoming sessions, visit the HWS Calendar of Events on the Daily Update or the Centennial Center News and Events page.
