OFF-CAMPUS STUDY

Whether it's interning in London, studying in Spain or doing research in Germany, many Hobart and William Smith students will have had some kind of international learning experience before they graduate.

With careful planning, health profession students are encouraged to take advantage of semester abroad opportunities and participate fully in the liberal arts experience. Some programs have specific health care components while others include required courses for the health professions or the major, so students can still graduate on time. While the Center for Global Educations offers abroad programs on six continents, health professions students often find themselves studying abroad Copenhagen, Denmark.

It is the Committee's impression that well-rounded students are the most successful in gaining acceptance to professional programs and developing into compassionate physicians. Global education can contribute to increasing your awareness.

Copenhagen, Denmark

As part of the Denmark program, students will study in Copenhagen through the country's International Study Program. Students select from more than 70 courses, all taught in English, of particular interest to student studying biology or pre-health.
