Abstract Preparation Workshops

CTL and faculty facilitated workshops on writing and formatting abstracts will be offered to help students prepare for the Symposium.  Below are the dates, times and locations of these workshops.

Abstract Writing Workshops

You must sign up in the Center for Teaching and Learning for a 20-minute time slot for these workshops.

All Workshops will take place in Learning Studio 1, on the first floor of the Library.

Thursday March 3

Facilitators: Susan Hess (Writing and Teaching/Learning Specialist and Assistant Director of the First Year Seminar Program), Emily Saeli (CTL Writing Fellow)
Time: 5:00 – 7:00pm
Location: Library Learning Studio 1

Friday March 4

Facilitators: Geoffrey Babbitt (Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature), Cheryl Forbes (Professor of Writing and Rhetoric), Susan Hess (Writing and Teaching/Learning Specialist and Assistant Director of the First Year Seminar Program)
Time: 1:00 – 3:00pm

Monday March 7

Facilitators: Susan Hess (Writing and Teaching/Learning Specialist and Assistant Director of the First Year Seminar Program), Peter Mayshle (Assistant Professor of Writing and Rhetoric)

Tuesday March 8
